Stepping Stones Therapy Services is a place where children are honored and challenged and where play is the activity of the day. As a child it is through play that we learn how to interact with the world. At Stepping Stones, I provide therapy services to children who are having difficulty navigating and interacting with their world. I specialize in working with children with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), ADHD, learning delays, behavioral/social problems, and emotional issues related to transitions, loss, trauma, and coping with life. I provide assessment, intervention, and education to enable your child to take new steps by combining my background in both pediatric Occupational Therapy and Psychotherapy/ Experiential Play Therapy. Your family and I work together collaboratively to determine your child’s needs and then select which interventions will best support your child in making change. Therapy is home-based and the types of interventions I use include Sensory Integration Therapy, Sensory diet set up, Experiential Play Therapy, EMDR, SAMONAS sound therapy programs, High Touch Jin Shin, the Wilbarger Protocol, and the Alert program (“How Does Your
Engine Run”). I also do parent consultation to support you in making shifts to support your child and family system.
